Taufiq is a strategy adviser, political analyst and writer based in Dubai, and a Visiting Scholar at the Dubai School of Government. He writes in a number of forums on the latest geopolitical trends, particularly those pertaining to the Muslim world. Most recently he was with McKinsey & Company, where he worked on strategy and transformation projects in the public, private and social sectors across the greater Middle East. Previously, he has worked with the United Nations in Lebanon, Aga Khan Foundation, and National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. He has also served as a dialogue facilitator for Soliya. His work and travels have taken him across the Muslim world and to over 40 countries. Taufiq holds a Master's in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and an A.B. from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
